Bakery standing in nature “Suien”
There is one bakery in Yomitan Village which is known as Japan’s most populous village and has the World Heritage Zakimi Castle Ruins.
Opened in 2010, homemade natural yeast bread baked in a stone oven is very popular with locals as well as tourists.
When opening a door of the bakery, you will feel the warmth of a tree as if entering into fairy tale world.
The green garden is wrapped in light filtering through the trees, and you can enjoy the peaceful view from the window inside the shop.
There is a large banyan tree in front of the shop, which makes you feel Okinawa.

Cute animals around the shop
After leaving the shop and climbing the back street a little, there is a gentle donkey.
Looks always comfortable under the warm sunshine.
On a rainy day, they are sheltering in the hut.
There are cats in the garden who always come to play.
